LARNED — The Larned High School volleyball team finished 0-3 at its home quadrangular on Tuesday night.
The Lady Indians fell to South Central, 25-15, 25-8; Bucklin, 25-22, 25-16, and Hoisington, 25-7, 25-13.
The Lady Cardinals, who are ranked No. 1 in Class 3A in the latest Kansas Volleyball Association poll, swept the competition to improve to 30-3 on the season.
Hoisington beat Bucklin, 25-9, 25-16, and South Central, 22-25, 25-16, and 25-9.

Ellinwood hosts quadrangular
ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood High School volleyball team went 1-2 at home on Tuesday night.
The Lady Eagles finished off Little River, 25-12, 25-16, before dropping matches to Goessel, 25-13, 25-22, and Inman, 25-18, 13-25, and 25-14.

Hoisington sweeps Elyria quadrangular Monday
ELYRIA — The Hoisington High School volleyball team swept the Elyria quadrangular on Monday night.
The Lady Cardinals bested Elyria, 25-11, 25-11.
Next, they eased past Chase, 25-4, 25-9, and finished with a win over Russell, 25-16, 25-13.
“The three seniors of Mallory Flagor, Savannah Rose and Belle Brickley led the hitting attack for us,” Hoisington head coach Tina Johnson said. “Sophomore Abi Rziha did a great job setting and serving for us, and Mykela Riedl, Brickley and Flagor controlled the ball and the back row. Abbi Demel did a great job serving for us, and BreAnna Burns does a great job on the right side for us, also.”
