HALSTEAD — Halstead stopped Larned 25-10, 25-10 in a Central Kansas League volleyball match.
Halstead (20-8, 4-2 CKL) led 14-4 in the first set against Larned. The Dragons led 7-0 in the second set. Larned’s Katie Fischer had three kills and a downed block, followed by Kaylee Krehbiel with three kills and Lynzi Myrick with a kill and two downed blocks. Krehbiel served two aces.
Larned raced past Wichita Life Prep 25-20, 25-8. The Indians led 17-8 in the first set. Larned served nine aces in the run. Larned led 6-0 in the second set.
Myrick led Larned (7-14, 2-4 CKL) with five kills, followed by Fischer with three. Mattie Glover served 10 aces, followed by Megan Stelter with four.

JETMORE — Jetmore-Hodgeman County downed Pawnee Heights 25-18, 25-21 and Satanta outlasted the Tigers 26-24, 9-25, 27-25 in a hard-fouhght three-set match at Jetmore.
NESS CITY — Ellinwood (17-10), LaCrosse and Ness City traded Central Prairie League volleyball wins Tuesday. Ellinwood outlatsed LaCrosse, 21-25, 25-19, 25-13. Ness City edged Ellinwood, 25-21, 25-23. LaCrosse defeated Ness City, 27-25, 23-25, 25-17 in a tight three-set match.
MACKSVILLE — Central Plains (18-5) is rolling with two-set Central Prairie league volleyball victories over Macksville and Kinsley.
