KINGMAN — Larned sprinter Shevin Martin clocked a winning time of 51.99 to capture first place in the 400 meters at the Kingman Track Invitational Tuesday. Martin placed runner-up in the 100 (11.76). Larned’s boys scored 80 points to finish third.
The Indians’ other runner-up finishes were posted by Asia Murphy, 100 (14.29); Katie Fischer, high jump (4-11¾); Brock Skelton, triple jump (40-8¼); De’shawn Clark, shot put (45-8½); the 400 relay (44.85) with Josh East, Wes Davis, Anthony McConnell and Martin; the 1,600 relay (3:32.76) with East, Thomas Harmon, Davis and Martin; and the 3,200 relay (8:58.09) with Danyon Green, Kristopher Nolde, Justin Giesbrecht and Harmon.
