MACKSVILLE — Jacob Warnken led three Oilers in double figures as No. 1 ranked Class 2A Central Plains downed Macksville 73-37 in a Central Prairie League basketball game.
Michael Ryan and Alex Barton each scored 12 points for the Oilers (7-0, 1-0 CPL), who made seven 3-pointers. The Oilers led 36-15 at halftime. Dodge City visits Central Plains Tuesday.
Russell Brigdon and Diego Delgadillo each scored nine points for the Mustangs (3-4, 0-1 CPL). The Mustangs made six 3-pointers.

MACKSVILLE — The No. 1 ranked Class 2A Central Plains girls rolled past Macksville 75-23 in a Central Prairie League basketball game. The Oilers (7-0, 1-0 CPL) were led by Janae Ryan with 23 points and Taylor Rolfs added 18 points. The Oilers made eight 3-pointers and led 30-5 after one quarter and 53-16 at halftime.
Macksville (2-5, 0-1 CPL) was led by Emma Stimatze with 10 points.
Dodge City visits Central Plains Tuesday.

Hoisington’s Emma Harmon hit back-to-back three-pointers for a 30-30 tie. Haven’s Emmiley Hendrixson and Mary Wagler responded with three pointers. Hendrixson and Jaycee Ummel each made three free throws for Haven (6-2, 1-1 CKL) in the final quarter. Hendrixson scored 11 points and Katelynn Stucky added 10 points.
Rylie Koester led Hoisington (5-2, 1-1 CKL) with 12 and Harmon chipped in nine points.

Ness City (7-1, 0-1 CPL) shot 36 percent. Chandler Stiawalt led Ness City with nine points off 3 of 14 shooting.
