ELLSWORTH— Taylor Rolfs notched 13 kills and three aces to help lead undefeated and No. 1 Central Plains to a 25-17, 25-11 victory over No. 6 Smoky Valley (4A) during triangular action Thursday at Ellsworth.

Kylee Kasselman added nine digs to lead the defense while Cassidy Crites sported 14 assists.

“The girls played extremely well and beat them in two,” said coach Kim Rolfs. “Our goal over the next few weeks is to keep our focus and continue to get better.”

Kasselman tallied 10 kills in a 25-15, 25-11 victory over host team Ellsworth. Rolfs added 10 assists and four aces and was leading defender with nine digs.
