GODDARD — Central Plains High School, led by the doubles team of Layne Bieberle and Michael Ryan, tied for 10th place at the Class 3-1A State Tennis Tournament.
Bieberle and Ryan went 2-2 and finished in fourth place.
Fellow Oilers teammates Meritt Hammeke and Carson Kirmer fell out of competition after losing two matches.
Hoisington, which finished in 19th place, had two entries — Cameron Davis in the singles competition and Even Smith and Austin McHenry in the doubles competition.
Both the singles and the doubles team went 0-2.
Ellinwood’s Marc Waite went 0-2 in the singles competition.
Ellinwood tied for 16th place.
