LAWRENCE – Kerby Depenbusch (16:24.5) and Connor Griffith (16:29.6) finished first and second and the Great Bend cross country teams first place in the Rim Rock Cross Country Classic.
Great Bend finished first (151) followed by Nixa, Mo. (187). The Panthers’ top two were followed by Sage Cauley, 32nd, (17:31.5) and Josh Tomlin, 36th (17:34.6).
Ninth-grader Aubrey Snapp placed sixth (21:07.3) to lead the Great Bend girls to first place (127), three points ahead of Hiawatha (130).
