RUSSELL – Great Bend golfer Kelby Titus captured medalist honors with a 73 to place first at the Russell Golf Invitational Thursday. Titus also competed Friday at the Hutchinson Golf Invitational at Carey Park and shot a 9-over-80 to tie for 56th.
Titus is averaging 76.6 heading to Monday’s Great Bend Golf Invitational at Stoneridge Country Club.
The Panthers placed third (375) behind Phillipsburg (338) and Hays-Thomas More Prep (360) at Russell.
