Panther golfers compete at Dodge City

DODGE CITY — Ninth-grader Cole Streck led Great Bend with a 28th-place finish (86) at Thursdat’s Dodge City Invitational at Mariah Hills Golf Course.
The Panthers placed 11th (364) with Brantley Baldwin (90), Jayson Effertz (93), Cal Dunekack (95), Ishmael Rodriguez (99) and Aaron Stein (102) also competing.
Hays High’s Tradgon McCrae (72) birdied the first playoff hole to beat Goddard Eisenhower’s Tyler Trudo (72) for medalist honors,
Wichita Kapaun-Mt. Carmel (3-7) placed first followed by Hays High (314).
