SALINA — The Great Bend High School swim team left Salina with first place on Thursday night, winning in both the Salina South division and the Salina Central division.
The Panthers edged past Salina South, scoring 477 points to top the Cougars by 19.
Great Bend had more success in the Salina Central division, scoring 499 to ease past second-place Salina Central, which scored 441.
Great Bend “A” relay team, manned by Ian Sheppard, Kade Cook, Josh Prescott and Justin Kuhlman, took first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, turning in a time of one minute, 36.76 seconds.
Kade Cook took first place in the 100 butterfly, touching in at 59.15 seconds.
