LIBERAL — Great Bend finished fifth (380) in Thursday’s Western Athletic Conference golf tournament at Willow Tree Golf Course. Panther Allison Neeland (42) tied for fourth and Halley Sanders (46) tied for 10th.
The Panthers’ Taylor Hommertzheim (49) placed 16th. Kaily Griffith (53) tied for 22nd, Cailee McMullen (61) placed 61st.
Hays High’s Katie Brungardt (40) captured medalist honors by one stroke over Dodge City’s Makena Konrade (41) and Liberal’s Corey Mein (41).

The Panthers compete at Huitchinson Sept. 29.
