SALINA — The Great Bend High School bowling team walked away from Salina with a pair of first-place finishes on Monday night.
Freshman Miranda Hejny set a school record, rolling a 709 series to lead the Lady Panthers to a team score of 2,403, and Wichita Trinity finished with 1,393.
Jacy Quade tied Henjy’s top game, knocking down 244.
The Panthers combined for 2,538, topping Wichita Trinity, which scored 2,395, and Salina Sacred Heart, who finished with 1,995.
Dakota Conaway led Great Bend with a 631 series.
Conaway and Daniel Herrman each bowled 224 games to top the Panthers.
Great Bend is back in action on Thursday at the regional match in Salina. The girls are slated to start at 1 p.m., and the boys will follow them at around 3:30.
