Heading out west this afternoon, the Great Bend High School Panthers baseball team travels to Dodge City to take on the Red Demons at Demon Field.
The first pitch of the Western Athletic Conference doubleheader is set for 4.
The Panthers, who are 9-3 overall, 2-2 in conference play, have won four straight games, capturing home doubleheaders on Thursday and Friday at the City of Great Bend Sports Complex. They swept on Liberal in WAC play on Thursday and did the same to Nickerson in non-conference action.
Great Bend travels to Hays to play Thomas More Prep-Marian in a doubleheader on Thursday, starting at 4, before returning home to play Garden City in the regular-season finale a week from today. That doubleheader will also start at 4.

The Great Bend Lady Panthers softball team (15-1), in the midst of a banner season, travels to McPherson today to take part in a three-way with Haysville-Campus.

The GBHS girls’ soccer team entertains Wichita Southeast in non-conference action at Cavanaugh Field, with the JV game preceding the varsity at 4 p.m.
