Panthers win Hays meet

HAYS — The Great Bend High School boys’ swimming team claimed first place at Hays on Tuesday.
The Panthers finished with 170.5 points, beating second-place Junction City (167) and third-place Hays (155.5).
Justin Kuhlman led the Panthers, seizing two first-place finishes — 200 freestyle (1:58.03) and 100 butterfly (58.42).
Great Bend is back in the water on Saturday at the Wichita Heights Invitational, starting at 9 a.m.
