PRATT 67, LARNED 62

ST. JOHN – Pratt outlasted Larned 67-62 for third place Saturday in the Mid-Winter Classic.

Pratt turned the trick with a dozen 3-pointers for 36 points. Noah Myers and Hayden Schrag hit back-to-back 3-pointers for a 54-51 lead. Myers scored 21 points and sealed the victory with two free throws and a steal and basket. Schrag added 16 points.

Evan Skelton led Larned with 20 points and Isiah Perez added 12 points.

The momentum swung back and forth after Pratt led 21-12 after one quarter. The game was intense and hard fought from the start between two Central Kansas League rivals.
