GREENSBURG— Chase Fisher qualified for state after winning the high jump during Thursday’s 2A regional meet. Fisher finished with a vertical of 10 ft. to win the event.

The Tiger boys performed well in the relays as Quincy Smith, Triston Long, Clay Cooper and Gera Calleros took the top spot in the 4x800 at 8:40.06. Calleros and Smith joined teammates Alexis Valenzuela and Clay Cooper finishing fourth in the 4x400 in 3:39.68.

In the girls division, Teresa Christie placed third with a qualifying time of 33.11 ft. in the shot put. Torre Fisher won bronze in the 400 meter race and qualified in 1:03.22.

All top four finishers in each event qualify for next week’s state meet in Wichita.
