St. John High School all-stater Cole Kinnamon signs to play basketball at Cowley College in Winfield. Kinnamon is joined by his father, Clint Kinnamon; his mother Tara Kinnamon, and his older brother Kade Kinnamon, a member of Kansas State’s basketball team. Cole Kinnamon ended the longest post-season game in state history with a 35-footer that beat Lawrence Seabury Academy 52-51 in the 2A semifinals. Cole Kinnamon played for two state championship teams and a state runner-up team at St. John. Kinnamon has qualified for the 2A state track meet in Wichita.
