It wasn’t easy, but now it’s over. For the Great Bend High School girls’ basketball team, everything that came before is of no consequence, aside for seeding purposes, and now the Lady Panthers face the cream of the crop at the Class 5A State Tournament, starting on Thursday at the Topeka Expocentre.Great Bend enter Thursday as the No. 3 seed, a good draw considering the Lady Panthers are one of three teams at the tournament with a 20-2 record, the other two being fourth-seeded St. Thomas Aquinas and fifth-seeded Kapaun-Mt. Carmel. There are also two teams at 21-1 (Leavenworth and Salina Central). The Lady Panthers face Topeka Seaman, which is the sixth seed at 19-3.The game starts at 8:15 p.m.• Central Plains Lady OilersAs the No.
