Tribe sending entire golf team to 4A state meet

ULYSSES — The Larned High School girls’ golf team placed second at the Class 4A regional meet on Monday.
The Lady Indians missed first place by three strokes, combining for 426 to finish just behind Cheney.
Larned was led by Katie Seeman, who finished in fourth place, shooting 50 to open the day and 48 to close with a 98.
Kayla Langdon also finished in the top 10, finishing with a 101 to place sixth.
Maggie Koops of Ulysses won the regional with a score of 91.
Larned will be competing the Class 4A state meet in Topeka on Monday.
