LARNED — The Larned High School baseball team came away with a pair of home victories on Thursday, topping Spearville 7-2 in Game 1 of a doubleheader and 15-0 in four innings in Game 2.
In the first game, Larned’s Camryn Bryant allowed two runs on four hits. He struck out eight batters and walked three.
Johnathon Herter came on in the seventh, closing things out.
Tyler Stelter led the Indians offensively, driving in three runs and going 2-for-2.
In Game 2, the Indians piled on 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth, cutting the game short with the run rule and giving starting pitcher Trey Kraisinger a shut-out victory.
He had seven strike outs and allowed three hits.
Bryant, Easton Palmer, Stelter and Derek Delgado each had two RBIs in the second game.
