Hays High 90, Great Bend 44
HAYS — Western Athletic League leader Hays High routed outmanned Great Bend 90-44 in a Western Athletic basketball game Tuesday. Isaiah Nunnery scored 23 points and slammed home a dunk. Keith Dryden scored 15 points with a slam dunk for Hays High (7-1, 2-0). The Indians made 11 3-pointers.
Cody Crosby scored 11 points for Great Bend (3-5, 1-2). The Panthers were outscored 38-10 in a stretch that started in the first quarter.

HAYS – Lauren Welsch broke a 53-53 tie with a 3-pointer to spark Great Bend’s girls to a 62-55 Western Athletic Conference basketball victory.
Great Bend (6-2, 2-0) outscored the Indians 9-2 in the final minutes. Carley Brack and Carly Dreiling sealed the victory with free throws. Brack scored 25 points and Welsch added 12 points.
Hays High (3-5, 0-2) was led by Jaycee Dale and Audra Schmeidler with 12 points apiece.

HOISINGTON — Kylah Comley scored 24 points to lead CKL co-leader Sterling past Hoisington’s girls 46-27 in a basketball game.
Sterling (8-1, 3-0) led 23-16 at halftime and outscored the Cardinals 15-5 in the third period. Rylie Koster led the Cardinals (5-2, 1-2) with nine points and Emma Harmon added eight points.

Brigdon Russell (15), Diego Delgadillo (14) and Jacob Rain (14) scored in double figures for Macksville (4-4, 1-0). Russell and Delgadillo each made four 3-pointers.
