HOISINGTON BOYS 54,  LACROSSE 33 (1ST) — Hoisington captured the Cardinal Winter Jam for the seventh time in school history with a dominating 54-33 victory over Ellsworth. Hoisington (9-1) dominated the first period 21-5 and won three tournament games by 35 points per game.

All-tournament Drew Nicholson led the Cardinals with 22 points. All-tournament Mason Haxton scored 11 points and Ryan Woydziak chipped in nine points.

ELLINWOOD BOYS 62, ELLSWORTH 50 (3RD) — Ellinwood's all-tournament Britton Dutton scored 29 points and all-tournament David Hammeke added eight points in a decisive third-place victory. Tyler Stuhlsatz scored 12 points and Luke Wondra added six points. 

Ellinwood (9-3) converted 10 3-pointers to outscore the Bearcats 30-12 from 3-point range and 18-8 from the free throw line.

OTIS-BISON GIRLS 49, ELLINWOOD 16  (1ST) – Otis-Bison's all-tournament Maddie Wiltse dominated inside with 22 points and terrific defense as the Cougars (12-0) roared to a 27-0 lead. All-tournament Cora Anderson added 14 points. The Cougars captured the Cardinal Winter Jam for the first time. In three games, Wiltse scored 47 points, Anderson 29 points and all-tournament Cristen Trapp 25 points.

Ellinwood (8-4) was paced by Daphne Doll with six points and Mary Dimitt with five points.

ELLSWORTH GIRLS 46, HOISINGTON 45 (5TH) — Ellsworth's Jaide Talbott converted the game-winning free throw with 10 seconds left. Hoisington's Keeley Wolf missed the game-winning field goal after tying the score at 45 with a field goal. Wolf scored 14 points to lead Hoisington (2-8).
