MANHATTAN – Kansas State University football head coach Bill Snyder and student-athlete ambassadors will be guest speakers at the 2012 Central Kansas Catbackers dinner and auction on Thursday, June 28, in Great Bend.
The Catbackers also will sponsor a golf tournament earlier that day for K-State alumni and friends.
There are more than 1,600 K-State alumni and friends in the Central Kansas/Great Bend area.
K-Staters will gather at 5:45 p.m. for a social before the dinner and auction at The Club at Stoneridge, 1438 24th St., in Great Bend. Other guests from campus will be Lon Floyd, assistant athletics director/development events, K-State Athletics; Mike Clark, senior director of development, K-State Athletics; Andrew Hamor, director of annual giving, K-State Athletics; Eric Holderness, assistant director of development/annual giving, K-State Athletics; Gavin Hargrave, associate director of alumni programs, K-State Alumni Association; and Wyatt Thompson, Voice of the Wildcats.
The golf tournament also will be at The Club at Stoneridge with a 12:45 shotgun start.
The deadline to make reservations for both events is Monday, June 25.
