ST. JOHN — Kiowa-South Barber quarterback Briggs Jewell completed two touchdown passes and rushed for a score to ignite a 50-0 victory over St. John in 8-Man District 7 football game. 

Jewell passed for 173 yards and scored on a 6-yard run. He completed a 6-yard scoring pass to Xander Myers and a 48-yard touchdown pass to Oakley Duvall. Bryson Rathgeber scored on 2- and 38-yard runs. Lukas Dunham scored on a 1-yard run and a 51-yard punt return. Duvall accounted for nine tackles and five assists. Dunham intercepted a pass.

South Barber (5-1, 2-1), South Central (3-3, 2-1) and Kinsley (5-1, 2-1) are tied for the District 7 lead. St. John (3-3, 1-2 District) plays at Kinsley Friday.
