COLDWATER – Pawnee Heights Tiger Davin Hamby scored nine points and Clayon Hammeke contributed five points and four steals in a 75-22 loss to South Central in a Southern Plains Iroquois basketball game.

The Tigers (0-1) committed 29 turnovers. The Tigers play Rawlins County Tuesday at Quinter.

South Central’s Jase Rutherford scored 12 points and Gavin Uhl and J.T. Prusa each added 10 points.

COLDWATER – The tandem of all-league Olivia Hands (16) and sister Abby Hands (16) scored 32 points for Pawnee Heights, but South Central escaped with a 36-32 victory in Friday’s Southern Plains Iroquois basketball game. The Tigers play Dighton Tuesday at Quinter.

South Central’s Isabel Hackney broke a 32-32 tie with a steal and layup for a 34-32 lead.
