PRETTY PRAIRIE — Stafford's state qualifier Joel Valadez captured the 3,200-meter gold medal (10:42.17) and placed third in the 800 (2:18.17) at the Pretty Prairie track invitational.

Caldwell placed runner-up in the 200 meters (24.71).
