STAFFORD GIRLS 62, CENTRE 23

STAFFORD – Stafford's Ines Garcia scored a career-high 19 points and point guard Taylor Denio was spectacular with 15 points and several assists to spark a dominating 62-23 non-league basketball victory over Lost Springs-Centre. Denio's highlight was a step-back 3-pointer that ignited 18 points in the final six minutes.

Stafford (2-4) doubled its highest scoring game of 31 points against Centre last year. Madilyn Hearn hit a pair of 3-pointers as the Trojans converted a season high five 3-pointers. It was the first time in three years the Stafford boys and girls both swept basketball games.

Centre (0-6) was paced by Jimena Sanchez with six points.

OTIS – Stafford's Samuel Lowther converted the game-winning free throws for a thrilling 33-31 non-league basketball victory over Otis-Bison Tuesday. Lowther passed out four assists. Jacob Simmons scored 16 points and Brody Kerschenske grabbed 15 rebounds with eight points.

Otis-Bison (3-4) was paced by Hayden Morrison with nine points. Morrison converted a 3-pointer for the Cougars' final three points.
