LARNED — Macksville’s Harley Blaske, Central Plains’ Cole Lamatsch and Pawnee Heights’ Madison Polson were double winners at the Larned ninth-grade-sophomore track meet.
Blaske swept the 110-meter hurdles (18.36) and 300-meter hurdles (45.0). Lamatsch won the 1,600 (5:06) and 3,200 (11:34). Polson swept the long jump (13-7) and triple jump (29-101/2).
Other boys winners were Macksville’s Michael Seward, 400 (59.72); Hoisington’s Ian Doss, 800 (2:16); Larned’s Drake Harding, triple jump (35-5); and Great Bend’s Barrett Lutt, shot put (38-7).
Other girls winners were Larned’s Alyce Claussen, 3,200 (15:04); Macksville’s Brooke Smith, high jump (5-0); and Macksville’s Yuli Triana, javelin (80-4).
