SMOKY VALLEY GIRLS 59, LARNED 40 –  Smoky Valley’s Adrian Hazelwood scored 22 points and Kat Blanchat added 18 points as the Vikings downed Larned 59-40 in Thursday’s Central Kansas League basketball game.

Jadyn Pinkston led Larned with nine points.

SMOKY VALLEY 42, LARNED 34 -- Smoky Valley converted back-to-back 3-pointers and outscored Larned 9-1 in the final minutes for a 42-34 Central Kansas League basketball victory over the hard-luck Indians.

Vikings Ty Heitschmidt and Taylor Campbell each scored 12 points.

Larned’s Carson Shaver kept the Indians close with a 16-point game and Cade Colglazier added seven points.
