Red Demons down Panthers

Unbeaten Western Athletic Conference champion Dodge City roared past Great Bend 7-0 in Thursday’s WAC match. Dodge City (7-0, 4-0 WAC) stays unbeaten.

Dodge City’s Chris Velez and Alan Lopez each scored two goals and Angel Lopez, Daniel Rojas and Aron Martinez each scored a goal. Contributing assists were Chris Velez, Luis Brown, Ernesto Monge, Bryan Tonche, Daniel Buendia, David Garcia and Najera.

Great Bend (3-5, 2-2 WAC) plays Tuesday at Garden City in a WAC showdown.
