MLB All-Star Game
There are more than 200 fountains in Kansas City, the so-called City of Fountains. Five fountains were colored blue for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which was played Tuesday night at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. There are also five statues in the shape of crowns throughout the city, each of them weighing half a ton. Moreover, there are 80 barbeque joints in KC, more per capita than any other U.S. city, according to the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
