OU signs Fort Scott product

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — University of Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops has announced the signing of two junior college football players.
Stoops said in a news release Wednesday that tight end and Altamont native Brannon Green from Fort Scott Community College and defensive back Kass Everett from Pierce College in Los Angeles will enroll at OU in January.
Green, who played in high school at Labette County, caught 15 passes for 213 yards in eight games in 2011 and was named to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference second team.
Everett played in seven games in 2011 and had 25 tackles, five passes broken up and a fumble recovery. He was named to the first-team Southern California Football Association team.
