Stueder Contractors helped support Barton Core Community with a $1,000 donation to continue its goal of helping the 2023 class reach graduation of the 20-week curriculum program in May 2023. A check presentation was made this past week.

“Being an ongoing sponsor is important to us because we can see the impact and change this program is having in our community,” said owner Terry Stueder “We want our community to be a great place to live and work. Barton Core Community is helping to empower graduates to implement principles to increase their monthly income while reducing debt and setting goals for a positive future.”

From 2017 to 2023, Barton Core Community has shown continued success in helping people and their families out of poverty through the principles taught and leadership provided.

“Barton Core Community has been able to reach, educate, encourage and empower our 61 graduates, as well as their 62 children, in helping them get free from the hold poverty can have on their live,” said Rusty Wrinkle, Barton Core, community liaison in an April update to donors and supporters. “Our families have been able to reduce their debt by $307,422 through implementing Core Community principles taught during the weekly trainings as well as encouragement by staff and community friends.”

The 2023 class has a group of 12 participants in Phase 1 scheduled to graduate the program on May 25. A newly formed Phase 2 “Getting Ahead” class has also included 13 leaders of the program coming together to continue their progress.
