Beautiful Beginnings Bridal Boutique, located at 16th and Main in Great Bend, recently celebrated their second anniversary under new ownership. Jennifer Klepper, owner of the women’s clothing and bridal shop, bought the existing business from Chari Miller in 2008 and has made a few improvements since that time. “We’ve changed little things cosmetically within the store and have expanded our product lines,” Klepper says. “We’ve added more brands, expanded our selection of women’s clothing and girls’ prom dresses, and stepped up our window displays. We just want to combine big town style with our small town service.”
Several things about Beautiful Beginnings help the boutique stand out from its competitors - most having to do with quality service. “When a girl buys a prom dress from us, we register them to make sure that no one else at the prom ends up wearing the same dress,” Klepper says. “In addition, we started a program where we donate a part of our proceeds from prom dress sales and tux rentals back to the high school Madrigals. It’s our way of giving back and supporting the community.”
In addition to sales of bridal gowns and accessories, the women’s clothing side also offers perfumes, Brighton accessories and jewelry, tux and suit rentals with overnight delivery, as well as the popular SPANX undergarments.
During their Chamber Coffee, Klepper’s staff even put on a small fashion show featuring different product lines modeled by Sharon Muehleisen, Krisanne Seidel, Marla Isern, and Gwen Klepper.
