CCCC celebrates 20 years

Central Care Cancer Center announced Monday the celebration of its 20 year anniversary. Since its establishment, Central Care has been committed to personalized treatments, excellent care, and patient satisfaction for the people in its community and the surrounding areas, according to a CCCC news release. Central Care takes great pride in its unwavering commitment to providing state-of-the-art, locally accessible care through cutting-edge medical technology and exceptional healthcare professionals.  

In commemoration of its 20-year anniversary, Central Care has organized a special event to mark this significant milestone on Oct. 25. The celebration is open to the public and will encompass a gathering of employees, current and past patients, members of the medical community, and anyone else interested in attending. 

The current providers at Central Care in Great Bend include: Dr. Claudia Perez-Tamayo, MD, FACR, FACRO; Dr. Mark Fesen, MD, FACP; and Elizabeth Berger, PA-C.

Dr. Claudia Perez-Tamayo, radiation oncologist and president of Central Care Cancer Center, reflected on the center’s 20 year journey: “We have been privileged to serve the Great Bend Community and regional area with the highest and most technically sophisticated treatments in order to keep patients amongst their family and loved ones for better results and comfort.”
