Granny Mae’s Pumpkin Patch, located off I-70 at the Dorrance exit 199, will be open weekends throughout the month of October beginning Sept. 24. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Granny Mae’s offers a fall festival atmosphere including over 100 different varieties of pick-your-own pumpkins and gourds and live music, bonfires, and covered trolley rides to Scarecrow Meadow. Additional activities include train rides down Pumpkin Lane, Kernal’s Carnival Games, a five acre corn maze and a chance to find hidden treasures in Baley Park.
