A ribbon cutting was held for Just Say It Though.

The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting on June 24 at Just Say It Though, 1919 Lakin Ave., Suite 109. The celebration was to commemorate the opening of the new business and its recent joining of the Chamber. Owner and artist behind the products of Just Say It Though, Christen Markovich, opened the storefront in April.

At the ribbon-cutting, Markovich explained beginning the business in 2016, making and selling quilled greeting cards at the Christmas Craft Mall in town.

“The whole thing kind of blossomed from there,” she said. She continued to participate in the Christmas Craft Mall each year and expanded the business in 2017 with a website. A storefront was the next step, providing more visibility in the community. She creates gifts/items for all occasions and holidays.

“I also love working with customers on custom orders,” Markovich said. “It’s always fun to help them bring their ideas to life!”
