The first-ever F&E Collector Auto Auction will take place Saturday at Great Bend Expo Complex, 455 W. Barton County Rd. The sale will feature unique “automobilia” and “petromobilia,” and a wide variety of classic vehicles.
The doors open at 8 a.m., with the memorabilia sale starting at 10 a.m. and the vehicle sale starting at noon. Admission is $5.
The event is a joint production of the City of Great Bend and Carr Auction and Real Estate of Larned.
This will be held in a regional auto auction format. There will be a food vendor available and a beer garden.
Collectables include lighted signs, enamel signs, advertising items, oil cans, auto parts, toys, gas pumps and other items. Vehicles will include classics, muscle cars, antiques, hot rods, motorcycles and boats.
According to the Carr Auction website, consignments are still being taken. Online bidding is also available.
