Eagle Communications Great Bend Division has named Ed McGilber as director of sales for the Great Bend Post. The Post is an on-line product that features news, sports, community events and more. McGilber brings a background in media and on-line sales having previously worked at the Great Bend Tribune.
McGilber was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He and his wife Quenla have resided in Great Bend for the past 2 ½ years with their five children ages 4 – 21. Quenla is finishing her master’s degree in psychology at Fort Hays State University and is in the process of writing her first book.
The Great Bend Post is a separate product of Eagle Radio. With the 70,000 weekly listeners of the four Great Bend Eagle stations (KHOK, KBGL, KVGB AM & FM), the Great Bend Post reaches over 20,000 weekly viewers. “It’s a part of the Eagle brand and we never stop here at Eagle in trying to create marketing ideas to increase the customers bottom line,” McGilber said.
