Farmers Bank & Trust announces the appointment of Richard Rugan to its board of directors.

Richard Rugan has been managing the family farm operations in Barton, Stafford and Pawnee Counties for 22 years. He also has 15 years of tax and accounting experience through Adams, Brown, Beran and Ball, CHTD.
Richard received his Associates Degree from Barton Community College in 1988 and his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Accounting from Kansas State University in 1990.
He presently is a member of Pawnee County Coop, serving as past President and Treasurer of the organization. He is a current member of the Claflin Community Scholarship, Inc. Board of Directors. He was a previous Board Member with USD #112 and represented Barton County for the Kansas Association of Wheat Growers. He is a past member of the Great Bend Optimist Club and a current lector and member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Rugan will join the current members of the Farmers Bank Board of Directors: Larry Keenan, WR Robbins, Karesa Robbins Harrison, Jerry Marmie, Melvin Schartz, Grady Bolding, Dr. Roger Marshall, Kevin Keller and Dammond Rex Robbins.
Richard and Janel reside near Claflin with their three children: Sydney, Brady and Delaney.
