First Bank will be bringing in a nationally known speaker on the future of farming this March for their Cultivate Your Legacy agricultural event.
Dr. David Kohl is an award-winning author and educator, specializing in helping businesses navigate industry trends and making themselves recession proof.
“We recognize no one can predict the future, but everyone can prepare themselves. Having no plan can harm not only the business owner, but also our local economy and communities,” said Jeff Laudermilk, First Bank President.
In addition to Dr.Kohl’s Keynote address, First Bank has planned for a collaborative “Open Space” where businesses can learn more from one another on how to combat issues within their industry.
The event will be hosted at Sterling College’s Gleason Building from 7:15-11:30 a.m. on March 7 with breakfast provided.
Space is limited and those wishing to attend should reserve their spot by contacting Raechel Manley at 620-278-2161.
