Jordan earns Wayne State certification

NACCTFO professional certification program for county treasurers, tax collectors, and finance officers Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., awarded the Finance Officer Certificate to James Jordan, treasurer of Barton County. To qualify for the certification, Jordan attended at least 21 hours of public administration training through Wayne State’s Graduate Program in Public Administration. The certificate was awarded at the recent annual meeting of the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers, and Finance Officers (NACCTFO) on July 20, in Denver, Colo. 

“Wayne State’s Presidential Certificate Program allows hardworking public finance professionals to keep up with current management and technical practices, and we proudly recognize their efforts,” said Dr. Kyu-Nahm Jun, director of the Graduate Program in Public Administration at Wayne State, which coordinates the program. “James Jordan’s completion of the program shows true commitment to public service.”
