Landmark National Bank is partnering with the Golden Belt Humane Society to raise funds and awareness with its fourth annual Dog for a Dog event. The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Landmark’s 1623 Main Street location.
Landmark associates will be grilling and serving hot dogs with chips, drink and a cookie for a donation to the Golden Belt Humane Society. A minimum $1 donation for the hot dog and accompaniments is suggested. Both the Main Street location as well as the Landmark location at 5200 Broadway, will also be accepting donations of pet supplies, dog food, and other items for the Humane Society.
“Golden Belt Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of all the unwanted/abandoned or mistreated animals in Great Bend and Barton County. We strive to make their lives better and to search out the best homes possible for them. Without the help of businesses like Landmark National Bank we could not do what we do. We depend on businesses, people in our community, and all the volunteers to make us what we are today,” said Chris Klima with the Golden Belt Humane Society.
