Jay Luerman, Credit Analyst for First Kansas Bank in Great Bend, graduated from the 2017 School of Banking Fundamentals in Grand Island, Neb. The school is sponsored by the Kansas and Nebraska Bankers Associations.
The School of Banking Fundamentals is designed to instruct students in core banking concepts as they relate to the overall functioning of a bank. Completion of this course assists students in developing skills that will allow them to better serve their communities, customers and bank.
Luerman grew up in Ashland and holds a bachelor’s degree in agri-business from Fort Hays State University. He is married to the former Joanna Reimer from Ashland and they make their home in Great Bend.
