Watkins Calcara Chartered, a law firm in Great Bend, announces that Travis Ternes has become a shareholder partner in the firm.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State, Ternes attended Washburn University School of Law. He graduated in May of 2016 in the top third of his class and was heavily involved in several organizations while in law school including the Washburn Law Journal and the Oil and Gas Association. He joined the firm as an associate in 2016 and has been primarily involved in civil litigation, workers compensation and general business counseling. He also has substantial experience with oil and gas title issues as a “land man” prior to starting his legal studies.

Mark Rondeau, managing shareholder of the firm, said, “We couldn’t be more pleased. Having Travis join us as a shareholder in the firm has been a mutual goal and he has certainly earned it. Travis is bright and personable and has a great work ethic. He is respected and appreciated by his peers in the profession and, more importantly, by his clients. He is a great addition to the firm.”

Ternes is admitted to practice before both the State and Federal Bar in Kansas and can be reached at the offices of Watkins Calcara Chtd., 1321 Main Street, in Great Bend, 620-792-8231.
