Greetings from the Great Bend Public Library! As a reminder, we will be having our first in-person program of the year for teens grades 6-12 and adults age 18 and up tomorrow, Saturday, January 9, at 11 a.m. Join us in the Lower Level Meeting Room to craft your own gnome friend to keep you company this winter! Supplies are limited; first come, first served.

We are very excited to be able to have people for in-person events again. We will slowly be trying more and more events over time and we hope all will continue to go well so we can continue to offer a variety of events. Please do keep in mind masks will be required for this event. The library will not be providing masks so please come prepared. Social distancing will be required.

Next week marks the start of many of our virtual children’s events after the winter break. There will be lots for families to look forward to each week. Starting January 12th Virtual Story time will be back, every Tuesday at 10:30 am.

Take and make crafts related to the story will be available throughout the week after story time. Then starting Wednesday each week at 3:30 our Virtual Library Learning Room with Miss Jessica will be posted on our Facebook page and website. S.T.E.A.M. Ahead activities will be back Thursdays at 3:30 on our Facebook and website as well.

Don’t forget, we do require masks to be worn in the library. If you are unable to wear a mask, please call the library at 792-2409 to ask about our personalized services.

Keep an eye on our Facebook and our website, greatbendpl.info, for upcoming programs and updates. You can also message us on Facebook or email us at gbcirc@gmail.com.
