Alpha Kappa Master learns ‘How to Stay Young’

Alpha Kappa Master met on Sept. 9 at the home of Marcia King.

Connie Carlton reviewed sorority insignia for the Beta Book Drill. Committee reports were received from the courtesy committee with a comment from David Buster to the chapter for placing a yellow rose on Marty Buster’s gravesite at Memorial Day. The service committee urged members to bring stuffed bears for a presentation at a local preschool. Membership announced that Alice Clapsaddle, Connie Carlton, Marcia King and Wadonna King have achieved the Torchbearers Degree.

Following the business meeting, Marcia King presented the program “How to Stay Young.” A social hour was held followed the meeting with refreshments served by the hostess.  

The Oct. 14 meeting will be held in Hays at the home of Glenna Melkus.
