Lores and Delores Appel celebrated their 50th anniversary on Jan. 7.
Lores Appel and Delores Lang were united in marriage on Jan. 7, 1961 at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend.  Resdents of Great Bend all 50 years, they were self-employed business owners of Jimlo Glass before their retirement. The couple have two daughters, Jackie and husband David Harvey of Geneseo and Sandy and husband Jeff Roth of Ellinwood; and five grandchildren, Grant and Peyton Jacob, and Nicholas and Josee Roth.
