Robert and Virginia Ballard of Hoisington will celebrate their 64th anniversary on Aug. 16.
Virginia McEwen and Robert Ballard were united in marriage on Aug. 16, 1948 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The couple has four daughters, Barbara Tournear and husband Ron, Debbie Giebler and husband Steve and Linda Pringle and husband Steve, all of Great Bend, and Patty Ballard of Hoisington; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
