Joe and Darlene Boley of Great Bend will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 1 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 26, at 5310 Eisenhower. Hosts for the event are the couple’s family, Maggie McKain of Concordia, Mary and Bryan McMahan of Van Alstyne, Texas, JoAnn and Dugan Ishmael of Lee’s Summit, Mo., eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The couple were married on Dec. 26, 1955, in Wichita. Joe is a retired USD 428 band director. Darlene is a private piano teacher. They are both involved in local music activities and service organizations.
The couple requests no gifts.
